Maintenance begins on the Peffery Way
Highland Conservation Ltd, the contractor working for Highland Council, have commenced maintenance work today on the existing 500m section of Council promoted path between Strathpeffer and the Sewage Works.
The work will involve scraping and clearing the surface before putting down a new packed gravel surface. Drainage ditches will also be dug or cleaned out in order to deal with the swampy sections.
In a few weeks time this section will be much more accessible for all.
